Mexican Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:
6-7 Bell Peppers, tops and seeds removed
1lb Turkey Meat
Taco Seasoning (see additional recipe below)
Fresh Shredded Cheddar Cheese (optional)

Instructions:
Brown turkey meat and drain. Add taco seasoning and a bit of water. Stir until all mixed and warm. Remove from burner and set aside.

Preheat oven to 350.
Put a bit of water in the bottom of a glass plan (this will keep you from having to boil your peppers!) and set your peppers on top.

Fill peppers with taco meat and top with cheese, if desired. Bake in oven for 30 minutes.

1 Green = Pepper
1 Red = Turkey

Taco Seasoning Recipe:
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions
In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Store in an airtight container. Use 1-2 Tbs. per pound of meat (add a little water to meat to mix well).
