Candy Bar Shakes: So Good, They’re Scary!

I know Halloween is coming, and there are temptations sitting on your counter, in orange bowls with Jack-o-Lantern faces and bold lettering. It’s staring at you: candy. So are you ready for a healthy treat that tastes like candy without all the guilt? Kit-Kat

1 Scoop Chocolate or Vanilla Shakeology
2T Fat-free/Sugar-free fudge pudding mix
1T Cacao Nibs
2T Chocolate PBFit
1c Skim or almond milk
1c Ice
Blend + serve topped with crumbled rice cakes

Chocolate Cake Batter
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1c Almond milk, coconut milk or water
1c Ice
2T Fat-free/Sugar-free Cheesecake pudding mix
Blend + Enjoy!

Snickers
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
2T Fat-free/Sugar-free Butterscotch pudding mix
2T Chocolate PBFit
1c Almond Milk
½c Water
½t Vanilla extract
¼c Almonds
1c Ice
Blend + Enjoy!

Almond Joy
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1c Light coconut milk
1T Almond butter
1c Ice
Blend
Top with coconut shavings (if desired) + Enjoy!

Butterfinger
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1c Almond milk
2T PBFit
2T Almonds
1T Sugar-free caramel syrup
1c Ice
Blend, top with a few slivers of almond + Enjoy

Candy Corn
This recipe involves making 2 flavors, and yields 2 servings, so grab your #fitfam and serve these up at your Halloween party to keep everyone on the path to success!

(Part 1) Orange Dream:
1 Scoop Vanilla Shakeology
½ Frozen banana
½c Orange juice (with pulp)
3-5 drops Orange extract
1c Almond milk
1t Vanilla extract
1c Ice
Blend and chill in freezer while preparing second shake ↓↓↓

(Part 2) Extra Rich Vanilla
1 Scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1c Almond milk
2T Fat-free/Sugar-free Vanilla pudding mix
1t Vanilla extract
1c Ice
Blend

Pour ½ of your Extra Rich Vanilla into each glass. Slowly pour Orange Dream Shake over top. If you want to add a special something, add a dollop of Sugar-free Ready-Wip and sprinkles for a festive touch! Enjoy!

Peanut Butter Cup
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1c Skim or almond milk
2T PBFit or Chocolate PBFit, for a richer vibe
1c Ice
Blend + Enjoy

(The PB Cup is one of my favorite everyday shakes! You can add ½ frozen banana, 1t vanilla extract, and 1 cup of cold coffee to give yourself a bit of a boost for the day!)

S’Mores
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
3T Almond milk, cashew or coconut milk
1T Marshmallow fluff
4 Graham crackers

Twix
½ Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
½ Scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1t Sugar-free caramel syrup
1t Vanilla extract
1c Almond milk
1c Ice
½c Water
Blend and serve topped with a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers, if desired.

So why have I created alternatives to some of the most coveted candy bars and Halloween treats? Why do I care about sharing how to curb your candy love for some better-for-you-choices?

Let me share what Shakeology means to me:

Shakeology was something that I used think was too expensive. I was sure I was eating well, didn’t need nutritional support. I used to think that I could do it all on my own. And then I realized, that I need to be working smarter. I always have really good intentions of packing every lunch and snack.
